When I was out of work, I would try to make myself do at least one "productive" thing a day. I have a comic I drew at the time that illustrates the dilemma I often fell into... what constitutes a "productive" thing?
It's perhaps easier to identify a creative thing. So as I sit trying to make myself sew the dress I cut out last year, or trying to decide if I should start a new project, or trying to think of three things to blog, or to take up one of the many challenges floating around, I think I will open things up for myself a bit. Just one creative thing a day. Today, I chose day 1 of Simcha Fisher's Withdraw2020 Daily Art Challenge: Home. This is one version of what "working at home" looks like!

Is not a creative thng always also a "productive" one? Just in case you'll need that distinction again...
Wawing from Germany
waving, not "wawing"
You're so right!! Part of my goal was usually to draw a comic. And it was wonderful knowing that I had produced something--to have a tangible result! It's one of the reasons I like sewing, as well!
Waving back from Texas! :)
I think my favorite part of this is the big window with all the leaves outside. It feels so homey. My ideal of home is lots of windows with lots of trees outside them.
I have long had an image in my head of an ideal home with a round or hexagonal room with very high ceilings and windows all along half of the room, from floor to ceiling, overlooking a forest of pine trees.
I love my sun room with its windows and the trees!! But we do have to take care of some weeds, which are growing to the height of pine trees...
Oooh your ideal and mine would play nicely together! What is it about round rooms?
